Short Review: Slow issue. Rain everywhere, man.
Hmm. I do hope that Jeff Smith has a full idea of where the story is going, because this issue seems to spend more than its fair share of time treading water. The scene with Fone Bone and Thorn following Gran'ma through a rainstorm at night is several panels too long, while Phoney Bone, Smiley Bone and Lucius's trip through the same woods spends two pages too many recapping the last few issues. But for Smiley, the issue would be a wash-out (forgive me).
