Mathematics Literature Databases

Literature Databases provide a detailed and complete overview over the publications in a field. The world's most complete and longest running abstracting and reviewing service in mathematics is Zentralblatt MATH with more than 3 million entries from 1826 till today. There are also community-specific services as MathEDUC for mathematical education, STMA-Z for statistics, io-port for computer science and many more.

Zentralblatt MATH – ZBMATH

Zentralblatt MATH is the world’s biggest and most comprehensive reference database in mathematical research, dating back to 1868. Convenient search facilities as well as links to the electronic versions of the articles and to document delivery systems make this database a unique information service in mathematical research and a navigation tool in mathematical literature.

Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik – Jahrbuch Database

The »Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik« was the first comprehensive reviewing journal in mathematics worldwide. It was published 1869–1945. The database contains the complete content consisting of bibliographic data and reviews of about 223,000 documents of the period 1868–1942. Many documents in the database are supplemented with translated titles, keywords, classification codes, remarks, and links to full texts.

swMATH – Mathematical Software Database

swMATH is a freely accessible, innovative information service for mathematical software. swMATH not only provides access to an extensive database of information on mathematical software, but also includes a systematic linking of software packages with relevant mathematical publications.

MathEduc – Education, Didactics, Popularizations

MathEduc (formerly MATHDI) is the only international reference database offering a world-wide overview of current and recent literature on mathematics and computer science education.

European and International Mirror Servers

The EMIS services are available from a number of mirror sites that replicate the whole contents of the server.
